Aldie J. Therriault
 
Retired local excavator;
 
      Aldie J. Therriault, 90, of Raymond, NH but formerly of Pelham, NH, Londonderry, NH and Dracut, MA, died Monday morning at The Oxford in Haverhill.
     Born in Dracut, Massachusetts, October 4, 1927, a son of the late Ovila and the late Eva (Richard) Therriault, he received his education in the Dracut school system.
     A veteran of the Korean War, Aldie proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
     Aldie worked in the construction industry throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts for over 50 years, primarily as an excavator. He continued to work well into his 80’s.
     A passion for flying led Aldie to attain his licensure as a private pilot which allowed him to continue his pursuit and love of flying. He also enjoyed being outdoors and active whenever he was not working. In addition, Aldie liked to escape the cold New England winters and spend them in Florida.
     Aldie is survived by three daughters Mary J. Capaldo and her husband Steven of Raymond, NH, Sandra Ray and her husband Vance of Tyngsboro, MA and Lorraine Carlson and her husband John of Billerica, MA; a son James J. Therriault of Derry, NH; a step daughter Phyllis Vaill and her husband Bruce of Goshen, CT; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; his longtime companion Sally Gurley of Derry, NH.
     He was also the step father of the late Timothy Wood and brother of the late Charles Therriault, the late Dorothy Hall and the late Bella Donnelly.
     Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNREAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 7 P.M. Thursday. Private Funeral Services will be held for the family at a later date.
