    Bertha Ann Landry, 90, of Pelham, formerly of Nashua, died peacefully on Saturday, March 17th at her home.
    Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, September 5, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Ludger O. and the late Edna S. (Ellenwood) Landry.
      Following the death of her mother when she was just 5 years old, Bertha resided in Nashua with her paternal grandparents, John and Elise Landry along with her aunt Albina Landry and received her education there.
      Before retiring, Ms. Landry was employed as the Deputy City Clerk at City Hall in Nashua for over 50 years. She was also Legislative Assistant to the Board of Aldermen and a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua for more than 10 years.
      She was a philanthropist donating to dozens of charities and organizations. Dear to her heart were the American Indian schools which she loved to support.
      Miss Bertha is survived by her cousin Lynn Grainger and her husband Michael, their daughters Amy Dusling and her husband Jacob and their daughter Josephine all of Londonderry, NH and Dr. Stephanie Grainger and her husband Dr. Troy Lau of Stoneham, MAs; her special friend and caretaker Sheryl Durant and her husband Daniel with whom she resided; and her dear friends Sister Doris Gurrette of Manchester, NH and Naomi Patch of Maine.
      In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Wednesday morning at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham at 10 o’clock.
