Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend;
Brenda M. (Savage) Pacheco, 83, of Pelham, died Friday evening, August 11, 2017 at the Residence at Salem Woods surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife, for 64 years of the late Robert E. Pacheco, Sr. who died December 7, 2016.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, May 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Raymond J. and the late Mildred (Fralick) Savage, she attended Billerica schools and was a graduate of Howe High School in 1952.
Among her many interests, Brenda was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, Saturday night bingo with her loving daughter Mary Gail, shopping at the Dollar store with her loving daughter Jo Jo. She was also a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and watching golf. In her younger days, she looked forward to her frequent trips to Sebago Lake in Maine. Above all else though, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by five children Robert E. Pacheco, Jr. and his wife Lina of Covington, WA, Mary Gail Callahan and her husband Brian of Pelham, Daniel R. Pacheco and his wife Deborah of Pelham, James M. Pacheco and his wife Marie of Salem, NH and Joanne L. Donovan and her husband Bruce of Chelmsford, MA; twelve grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her two siblings William Savage and his wife Linda of The Villages, FL, Daniel Savage and his wife Sandra of Carlisle, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
Brenda was the mother of the late Thomas B. Pacheco and sister of the late Raymond “Buzzy” Savage.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial to follow at the Gibson Cemetery.
