Dale A. Benoit

Loving mother, grandmother and friend; 

Dale A. (Smith) Benoit, 74, of Newmarket, New Hampshire but formerly of Pelham, died Friday afternoon at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH with her loving family by her side. 
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Benoit who died in August of 2014. 
Born in Melrose, Massachusetts, May 16, 1942, a daughter of the late James T. and the late Aileen H. (Ryan) Smith, she attended Melrose schools and was a graduate of Melrose High School. 
Prior to her retirement, Dale was the Food Service Director for St. Joseph Grammar School in Salem, NH. Previously, she was a head cook for the Town of Salem in the school department. 
Dale had many special interests and activities. She enjoyed reading, horses, cooking, water skiing, knitting, crocheting, camping and traveling to Newfound Lake. An avid Red Sox and Patriot's fan, Dale found the most joy when she was spending time with her family. 
She is survived by seven sons Lucas J. Benoit and his wife Andrea of Exeter, NH, James R. Rosko and his wife Vicki of Holbrook, MA, Jacob L. Rosko of Atkinson, NH, Jason R. Rosko, Joseph C. Rosko both of Pelham, NH, Todd Wells of Pelham and Keith Wells of Lowell; and several grandchildren. 
She was also the mother of the late Elizabeth (Wells) Rosko. 
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 9 to 10:30 A.M. Thursday morning. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 11 o'clock. Committal Services will be private. E-condolences/directions at pelhamfuneralhome.com. Those wishing may make contributions in her memory to St. Patrick Church Bldg. Fund, 12 Main St., Pelham, NH 03076. Arrangements by Funeral Director James F. O'Donnell, Jr.
