I am Helen's niece from New York & sadly just learned of Aunt Helen 's passing, from the internet. I have stayed in contact with her over the years & knew something was wrong when I didn't hear from her at Christmas. Sorry for your loss to Maureen , Matt & family.
I will miss corresponding with her, the old fashion way, with letters.🦋

While attending a ballroom dance last night, I was saddened to hear of Helen's passing.  I first met Helen when we sat together at the Hillview Country Club Thursday dance and we had many fun and interesting conversations.  I always enjoyed her company.  She was a truly lovely lady and will be missed.  Please accept my sympathy on your loss.  My hope is that your many happy years and wonderful memories with this special lady  will comfort you at this sad time.

I worked at Park Place Lanes and Helen was one of the nicest people I have ever met!  She loved her bowling and was always in the best of spirits when she walked in the  door!   She was also always so generous with her baking expertise and every Friday she treated everyone with her baked goodies!   I even have some of her cookie recipes that she was generous enough to share with me!   Also at one point found out  that she was a friend of my mothers at "The dances on Sunday night".   Helen has stopped going but my mother remembered her fondly!   I have missed her these past few years that she stopped bowling,  but will always remember her with a smile on my face!

My dearest friend, 2nd Mom and inspirational woman... You've always been there for me through thick or thin and have shown love and respect that I cannot ever repay in two lifetimes. I'll miss our lunches, dinners, and our infamous "girls nite out" with my family for Mothers Days and birthdays.  You've always been a shining light and a beautiful soul and have made me strive to be a better person just by knowing you.  I miss you already but I know you're always out there for me ...and we all know you're out there as the butterfly you knew you would come back as.  You'll never be forgotten, dear friend and I know Fred and I will never forget you and the smiles you created.
