Mary Catherine (Randall) (Barrett) Steffen, 80, of Londonderry, died Tuesday, January 9th at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by Carl E. Steffen.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, January 31, 1937, a daughter of the late William and the late Mary (Fournier) Randall, she attended Charlestown schools and was a graduate of Charlestown High School.
Before retiring, Mary was employed as an Inspector with Raytheon Corporation in Andover for over 27 years.
Among her many interests, she enjoyed quilting, playing bingo and cards, gardening, square dancing, music, singing karaoke, camping and traveling to the beach. However, above all else, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by two daughters Margaret Bangs and her husband Robert of Pelham, NH and Mary Beth Gustitus and her husband Joseph of Londonderry, NH; three sons John V. Barrett and his wife Andrea of Shallotte, NC, Kevin M. Barrett and his wife Mary of Derry, NH and Paul D. Barrett and his wife Debra of Hampton, NH; a son-in-law Richard Morin of Pelham, NH; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister Georgia Lippman of Braintree, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also mother of the late Eileen Morin who died December 8, 2010 and sister of the late Virginia McLaughlin and the late Elizabeth Trimble.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Saturday morning at ST.
