Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and aunt.

Gertrude A. (Maloney) Dearborn, 99, of Windham, New Hampshire, passed away on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.

She was the loving wife of the late Ralph E. Dearborn, Sr.

Born in Dover, NH, July 13, 1924, the daughter of the late James and the late Rena (Miller) Maloney, she attended Woodsville schools and was a graduate of Woodsville High School, where she was the MVP of the Girls High School Basketball team.

Gertrude was a full-time mother and wife who was dedicated to her family.

Amongst her many interests, she enjoyed golfing, skiing, reading, knitting, playing bridge or any card game, playing tennis in her 70’s, watching tennis tournaments, and doing crossword puzzles.

Above all else, Gertrude loved watching her grandchildren grow up, and spending time with her family. She was known as the “joy” of the family and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah R. Anderson and her husband Gary C. of Windham, NH; seven grandchildren, Jayson G. Anderson and his wife Barbara of Sandown, NH, James L. Anderson and his fiancée Eileen Shea of Littleton, NH, Jonathan R. Anderson and his wife Sara of Londonderry, NH, Joel C. Anderson and his fiancée Hayley Pollard of Mornington, VIC, Australia, Mary Katharine Anderson and her fiancé Jeffery M. Poulin of Freehold, NJ, Todd Dearborn and his wife Dawn of Collierville, TN, Kara Simmermon and her husband Gregory of Parker, SD; ten great-grandchildren Ethan, Samuel, Ariana, Lily, Elle, Charlotte and Jack Anderson, Ryan Neuman, Katie Simmermon and Rena Dearborn; a great- great granddaughter Nina Neuman and a nephew Gregory J. Bonacorsi of Salem, NH.

She was the mother of the late Ralph E. Dearborn Jr. and the sister of the late Elaine Bonacorsi.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM, NH, on Tuesday April 9, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning, April 10, at ST.
