Anthony J. “Tony” Gordon, Sr.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend;
Anthony J. “Tony” Gordon, Sr., 93, of Pelham, NH (formerly of Tewksbury, Massachusetts) passed away peacefully Friday morning October 12, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He is survived by his beloved wife Ella J. (Avellar) Gordon, with whom he, this year, celebrated 73 years of marriage; six children; Anthony J. Gordon, Jr. and his partner Robin Merrill of Pelham, NH, Diane E. Castellano of Croydon, NH, Robert G. Gordon of Dracut, John B. Gordon of Tyngsborough, Lisa M. Fregeolle and her husband Richard of Pelham, NH and Mary E. Bond and her husband Brian of Dracut; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Linden, New Jersey, October 30, 1924, a son of the late Antonio and the late Giovanni (Bertucelli) Granozio, he received his education in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
A proud veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
Tony was a machinist with Raytheon Corporation at the West Andover, MA plant for over 35 years until his retirement.
Active in his community, Tony coached the first ever PeeWee Hockey Championship team from the Town of Tewksbury in 1970-71.
Tony loved hunting, golfing, gardening and spending time at his home on Lake Opechee in Laconia, NH.
Most of all his greatest joy was enjoying his loving family of four generations.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM, NH Thursday October 18, 2018 at 10 ‘clock.
