Retired E.M.T. for City of Boston EMS, after 35 years of service
Charles Michael “Fluffy” McNamara, 69, of Pelham, NH, died Friday evening September 6, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill, MA with his beloved wife of 36 years Debi (Leslie) McNamara by his side.
Born in Springfield, Ohio, February 24, 1950, the son of the late Floyd and Luticia Bell (Hauld) McNamara.
For over 35 years, “Fluffy”, as he was well known, was an Emergency Medical Technician for the City of Boston. His 35 year career was dedicated to saving countless lives and helping others. He finished his career in Special Operations. Mike was well loved and respected by all.
Besides his wife Debi, Michael is survived by three siblings Darryl E. Thatcher and his wife Treana of Idaho, Mary E. and husband Jeffery Brick of Florida, and Gary Lee Thatcher of Austin, TX; along with several nieces and nephews. His loving In- Laws, Herb and Mary Leslie of Fla.
He was the grandson of the late Fred and Mary Mowen and brother of the late Anita Stevens.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in Pelham NH from 4 to 8 P.M. Wednesday Sept 11, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held Thursday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH at 10 o’clock. Private Committal Services will be held at a later date.
