Frederick J. “Freddie” Duffen, Jr., 63, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, January 8, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, August 17, 1956, Freddie attended Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School in the Class of 1974. He is the son of the late Frederick J. and the late Eva (Danahy) Duffen, Sr., and brother to the late John Duffen.
Freddie was self-employed as a Master Electrician for over 40 years in the Merrimack Valley area.
Among his several interests, Freddie enjoyed working in his trade, fishing, cooking, and air shows. However, his favorite times were when he was with his family and friends.
He was the beloved husband of Maryann J. (Baillargeon) Duffen, who survives him and with whom he recently celebrated 37 years of marriage.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Shawn P. Duffen and his wife Jennifer of Windham, NH; a daughter Danielle M. Duffen of Pelham, NH; two grandsons Aiden V. Duffen and Connor A. Duffen; and his father-in-law Victor H. Baillargeon of Pelham, NH. He also leaves many loved in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life gathering at Salvatore’s Function Facility in Lawrence, MA on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1 - 4 P.M. (Please Use Entry B).
