Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend;

Holmes V. Tracy, Jr., 88, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully Monday August 13, 2019 at Windham Terrace in Windham, NH surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara J. (Rock) Tracy who died May 5, 2019 and with whom he recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on April 12th.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, August 11, 1931, a son of the late Holmes Tracy and the late Alice (Watson) Tracy, he was a graduate of Clark University in Worcester where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Holmes proudly served his country as a member of the U. S. Army.

Holmes was the former Transportation Manager for R.E.A. Express and later the Distribution Manager for the Lowell Sun for many years.

Among his many interests, Holmes enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, history, especially the Civil War and going to yard sales. However his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Holmes is survived by four children Jayne A. Dusek and her husband Richard D. of Ayer, MA, James D. Tracy and his wife Ann A. of Raymond, NH, Thomas H. Tracy and his wife Lisa of Salem, NH and Donna L. Demers and her husband Mike J. of Pelham, NH; 8 grandchildren April Dusek, Cyndi Dusek, Brian Dusek, Zachary Tracy, Jacob Tracy, Luke Tracy, Melyssa Demers and Kristyn Demers; 7 great grandchildren; a sister Beverly Gauvin of Charlton, MA; a sister-in-law Maureen Zidek and her husband Joseph of Nashua, NH; several nieces and nephews and two dear friends Sonny Koepke and Ray Scott.

He was also the father of the late John D. Tracy and brother of the late Lois Tracy.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 7 P.M. on Friday August 16, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service to be celebrated Saturday morning at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME at 10 o’clock followed by burial in the Gibson Cemetery.
