Karen I. Rivet

Loving wife, sister, aunt and friend;

Karen I. (Hargreaves) Rivet, 56, of Pelham, NH, passed away Wednesday morning at her home.

She was the beloved wife for 15 years of Alfred “Al” Rivet, whom survives her.

Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, September 18, 1961, a daughter of the late Wilfred J. and the late Violet (Clarke) Hargreaves, she attended Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.

Karen was currently a Fashion Consultant with the Dress Barn in Methuen. Previously, she worked at Andover Controls in Andover for over 20 years.

Among her many interests Karen loved shopping and baking, but her true love was being with her family.

Besides her husband Al, she is survived by a sister Judy M. Withee and her husband Wayne of Garland, ME; two brothers Kirk J. Hargreaves of Hampstead, NH and Kenneth D. Hargreaves of Derry, NH; many nieces, nephews and step children.

She was also the sister of the late John A. Hargreaves.

There will be no calling hours.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Funeral Service to be held Tuesday morning December 12, 2017 at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM at 11 o’clock followed by burial of her ashes at the Gibson Cemetery.
