Nicholas G. “Nick” Betancur

Loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend;

      Nicholas G. “Nick” Betancur, 23, of Pelham, NH, died unexpectedly Monday July 30, 2018 at his home.
      Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, July 28, 1995, he was a beloved son of Gabriel and Traci (Hood) Betancur.
      Nick was a 2013 graduate of Billerica High School and went on to attend Middlesex Community College. An athlete in high school, Nick loved all sports, especially football.
      Currently, he was working as a cook at Mr. Mike’s Restaurant in Haverhill pursuing his interest in the restaurant and food service industry.
      Beside his parents, Nick is survived by his sister Rebecca N. Hood of Pelham, NH; his brother Anthony M. Betancur of Pelham, NH; his maternal grandmother Sandy King and her husband James of Surprise, AZ; his maternal grandfather Robert Hood and his wife Carol of Windsor, VT; his paternal grandfather Gabriel A. Betancur of Colombia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
      He was also the grandson of the late Ana Gilma and great grandson of Bonnie E. Miller.
    Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 1 to 4 P.M. Sunday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated Monday morning at ST.
