Loving wife, mother and daughter
Nicole M. (Surette) Ashley, 41, of Nashua, formerly of Pelham, died Friday, February 9th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua. She was the beloved wife of Brandon J. Ashley who survives her and with whom she celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on October 2, 2017.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, December 18, 1976, the daughter and only child of Peter and Susan E. (DeRosa) Surette, she attended Pelham schools and was a graduate of Pelham High School with the Class of 1994.
Nicole was currently employed as a Systems Analyst with United Health Care for over 12 years.
Nicole’s primary interest was her family and close friends. She was fun-loving, outspoken, with a cynical sense of humor. She loved animals, traveling, especially to York Beach Maine, and enjoyed her frequent trips to Foxwoods. Active with her son’s school she was very involved in the PTA, the Booster Club, and Parks & Recreation activities. As a cancer survivor herself, she was also involved in various cancer awareness programs.
In addition to her husband and parents, Nicole is survived by a son Logan T. Ashley of Nashua; her mother and father-in-law Judith and Timothy Ashley of Florida; paternal grandparents Gertrude and Irving Surette of Pepperell, MA; an aunt Patricia Beaulieu of Tewksbury; an uncle Philip DeRosa of Wrentham, MA; aunts and uncles Christine and Richard Layne of Pepperell, MA and Lisa and Craig Hyslip of Westford, MA; and several cousins, among them Justin Beaulieu of Tewksbury.
Relatives and friends may call for a Memorial Visitation at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 10 AM to 12 PM on Thursday followed by her Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 12 o’clock.
