Paul E. Hanson

Loving step-father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend

 Paul E. Hanson, 57, of Pelham, died on Saturday, January 6th at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Susan (Haynes) Hanson who died in 2012.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, September 25, 1960, a son of Shirley M. (Butterfield) Hanson of Pelham and the late Herman L. Hanson, he attended Pelham High School.
 Paul was employed as a Union Carpenter with the New England Regional Council of Carpenters Union Local #40 based in Cambridge, Ma.
 Among his many interests, he loved tinkering with cars, snowmobiling, four wheeling and was an avid NASCAR and Boston Bruins fan.
 In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by two step-children Rhonda Haynes of Easton, MA and Michael Haynes of Houlton, ME;  a step granddaughter Samantha Haynes of Winn, ME; a sister Karen L. Wrigley and her companion Kelly Walsh of Phillipston, MA; two brothers Kenneth D. Hanson and his wife Chris Fleck of Manchester, NH and David A. Hanson and his girlfriend Michelle Hanson of Amherst, NH; two sisters-in-law Nancy Hanson of Goffstown, NH and Lisa Hanson of Pelham, NH; an uncle Herbert Hanson of Port Charlotte, FL; and four nieces Sarah and Heather Wrigley and Carrie and Cayla Hanson; and several cousins and step-grandchildren/ great-grandchildren.
 He was also brother of the late Robert C. Hanson who died in 1999.
 Relatives and friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 9 to 11 on Thursday morning immediately followed by his Funeral Service in the Funeral home at 11 o’clock.
