I am deeply saddened to learn of Fr John's passing.  He was a kind and compassionate priest.  When my mother died he showed such caring for my elderly father (and me).  When my father died very shortly after my mother, Fr John was  so supportive to me and my family.  He always new what to say.  I was so sad to see him leave St Peter's in Concord, NH.  I am sure he is in heaven smiling down on all of us with his wonderful smile.  Rest in peace Fr John.

We are so saddened to hear of Father John's passing.  I had the honor of serving many masses with him over the years, as a lector while he would celebrate.  I enjoyed his many stories he shared with us in the Sacristy before Mass, and I enjoyed his sermons even more.  Rest in peace Father John, and thank you for the gift of your ministry.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.  Until we meet again,

Peace and love,
Kathy Larmand and family, Dracut, Mass.

Please know that we admired him as part of our priest at St. Patrick's in Pelham.  His sermons were always started with a joke grabber and then he had your attention for the remainder of the message.  He had witnessed many changes to the Roman Catholic Church while he was going Gods ministry.  What a celebration of life, and joyous hearts as he returns home as Jeasus did 4 days later.

I do express my sympathy for your loss.  Even when there is celebration of life, as family it is double edge sword.  I hope you know, there will always be a place in our community.

He was very instrumental in my daughters and my life.  When he was serving mass, he would have time with her or us to give encouraging words. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

To The Family of Reverend John S. Sledziona, CM,
We knew Fr. John, as a gentle, loving priest, for some years, when he was with the Serra Group and his work with young and older men in their
discernment. He will be remembered for his deep devotion to God and
Church. He will be missed.
Our prayers and love,
Mr. & Mrs. Edward F. Mele, Jr.
