Robert J. Flanders
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend;
Robert J. Flanders, 89, of Pelham passed away peacefully at his home Sunday afternoon surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Arlington, Massachusetts, July 23, 1929, a son of the late Charles R. and the late Helena (Hunt) Flanders, he received his education in the Arlington school system.
Bob proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.
Prior to his retirement he was a buyer for the Raytheon Corporation for over 25 years.
A loyal New England Sports fan, Bob was an avid Boston Bruins fan. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Bob summered at Green Harbor in Marshfield, Massachusetts and enjoyed being with his family.
He is survived by his wife Isabella “Pat” (Wilson) Flanders, a son R. Shawn Flanders of Pelham, NH; S. Jill Flanders of Pelham, NH; six granddaughters; a great granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Charles Flanders, Albert Flanders and William Flanders.
Relatives and close friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life gathering at the Village Inn in Dracut Saturday September 22nd from 12:00 to 4:00 P.M.
