Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt
Shirley A. Barlow, 78, of Pelham, died Sunday, April 8th at Lowell General Hospital – Main Campus following a brief illness.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 23, 1940, the daughter of the late George and the late Doris (Logue) Barlow, she attended the former Notre Dame Grammar School and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1958.
Shirley was currently employed as a Quality Control Inspector with Lockheed Martin in Chelmsford for over 18 years. Previously, she worked as an Assembler at Raytheon Corporation in South Lowell.
Among her many interests, she enjoyed shopping and loved animals, especially her dogs Sasha, Natasha and Coco. Her greatest joy however, being all about family, was the quality time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by a daughter Sharlene M. Craig and her husband Stephen of Pelham, NH; a son Ernest M. Rocha of Merrimack, NH; five grandchildren Courtney and Ryan Craig and Timothy, Robin and Melanie Rocha; two great-grandchildren Evan and Lincoln Rocha; a brother George A. Barlow and his wife Janice of Salem, NH; and five nieces and nephews Jennifer Barlow, Michael Barlow and his wife Ashley, Kayla Bocher, Madison Barlow and Dylan Barlow.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 7 P.M. on Thursday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in Pelham at 11 o’clock followed by burial at Thompson Cemetery in Tyngsboro. E-condolences/directions at www.pelhamfuneralhome.com.
