Teresa H. “Terri” (Jones) Evans

    Teresa H. “Terri” (Jones) Evans, 60, of Pelham, passed away peacefully Monday morning May 28, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
    Born in Melrose, Massachusetts, January 14, 1958, a daughter of Rosemary (Riess) (Jones) Dole and the late Edward Jones, she was a graduate of Pelham High School Class of 1976.
    A member of the U. S. Air Force from 1979 until 1987 when she was honorably discharged, Terri attended the University of Alaska in Anchorage and attained a Degree as an Optician.
    In 2001, she graduated from University of New Hampshire where she received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
    Terri had recently retired from Elder Services of Merrimack Valley having worked there for over 15 years as a social worker. Completely dedicated to her profession, she spent countless hours in and out of work helping many senior citizens.
    She loved animals, nature and gardening but was most happy when she was with her family.
    Besides her mother, Terri is survived by her daughter Rebecca S. Evans of Peabody, MA; her son Michael L. Evans of Pelham; a granddaughter Emma L. Carter of Marion, IL; a brother Brad Jones and his wife Christine of Williston, FL; four sisters Kathy Wunderlich and her husband Richard of Metheun, Patricia Donovan and her husband Dick of Lowell, Rosemarie Field of Reseda, CA and Stephanie Jones of North Andover, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday. Committal Services will take place at a later date.
