Theresa M. (Doucet) Boucher, 89, of Pelham, died Friday, June 29th at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland L. Boucher who died in 1995.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 1, 1927, a daughter of the late Edward and the late Georgette (Goupil) Doucet, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Salem, NH High School.
Before retiring, Theresa was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at Heritage Nursing Home and D’Youville Manor both in Lowell for many years. During World War II, at a very young age, she worked in the Lowell mills making parachutes for the American troops.
Very active in her church, she was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Pelham for over 60 years where she was also a member of the Women’s Guild.
Among her many interests, Theresa enjoyed reading, crocheting and long rides to the mountains. She was a member of the Pelham Senior Center as well as the Red Hat Society.  Above all else though, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by a daughter Gloria J. Stratton and her husband Mark of Canaan, NH; four sons Gerard R. Boucher of Pelham, NH, Dennis E. Boucher and his companion Joyce Bailey of Bedford, MA, Brian R. Boucher of Hudson, NH and Roy S. Boucher and his wife Pamela F. (Langland) Boucher of Dracut, MA; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters Lorraine Ducharme of Lowell, MA and Lucille Sevigny and her husband Richard of Phoenix, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
