Beloved mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother
Anita Giebermann, 95, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA.
Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, February 2, 1930, the daughter of the late Heinrich and the late Berta (Nolte) Giebermann, she attended schools in Germany and Canada, where she worked as an au pair.
Anita came to the United States in the late 1950’s and worked at Educator Biscuit Company in Lowell, MA. Then in 1963, she became a stay-at-home Mom. She then worked for 10 years at Raytheon in Waltham and later as a companion for the elderly.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being outdoors. She also truly loved being with her friends and people she would meet.
Anita was forever a teacher, loved music, playing piano and singing in the German choir. She also enjoyed many great vacations and adventures.
She is survived by a daughter, Angela O. (O’Brien) Vachon and her husband David of Pelham, NH; two granddaughters, Katie Muka and her husband Joseph of Chelmsford, MA, and Laura Beachley and her husband Shawn of Purcellville, VA; six great grandchildren, Henry, Brien, Francesca, Lilah, Wilhem (Thor) and Gabrielle.
Anita is also survived by her daughter Marita Brownand her granddaughter Marietta Brown and her husband Saeed Alneyadi; two great granddaughters Amira Brown and her husband Justin Goldszer and Allia Alneyadi; two great grandchildren Luke David Brown Goldszer and Braylee Anna Goldszer all of California
