Brenda M. Hobbs
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister;
Brenda M. (Souza) Hobbs, 73, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Friday February 19, 2021 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua NH.
She was the loving wife for 56 years to Charles W. “Chucka” Hobbs, who survives her.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, June 13, 1947, the daughter of the late Armand J. and the late Bertha (Monise) Souza. Brenda attended Fall River schools and was a graduate of Apponequet Regional High School.
For over 41 years, Brenda was a teacher’s aide in the Pelham school system, mostly at the Pelham Elementary school and was a former President of the School District 41 Teacher’s Aide Union.
Active in the Pelham community, she was also a longtime Avon sales representative. Always on the go, she helped others, whether family, friends or complete strangers.
Brenda loved to be with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to Key West with her friends, loved the beach, being around horses, specifically the Trakehner breed, and being part of the Corvette community.
Besides her husband Chucka, Brenda is survived by her children Heidi A. Locke of Union, NH, Shawn P. Hobbs and his wife Cheryl of Pelham, NH and Jason C. Hobbs and his wife Tammy of Mt. Vernon, NH; nine grandchildren, Tasha O’Brien and her husband Casey, Timothy Bergeron and his wife Andrea, Susan Hobbs, Laura Ventresco and her husband John, Travis Hobbs, Emily Bergeron, Cody Hobbs, Luke Bergeron and Taylor Hobbs and his wife Lauren; two great grandchildren Shelby and Paisley; a sister Pamela McMahon and her husband Fran of Greenfield, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday February 24, 2021. (All state required social distancing procedures will be observed including the wearing of masks upon entrance into the funeral home.)
