Brenda Joyce (Vance) Rich

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt;

Brenda Joyce Rich 78 of Pelham, NH passed away peacefully on Friday the 9th of May 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the devoted wife of John Rich, who survives her.

Born in Somerville, MA on August 29, 1946, to the late Mary C. (Grant) Vance and the late Clyde E. Vance of Tewksbury MA, she graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in Class 1964.

After receiving a scholarship, Brenda attended Bentley University earning a BA in Accounting and graduated magna cum laude.

During the early 1970’s Brenda worked for the Internal Revenue Service where she made lifelong friends. She then went on to work for her uncle at Grant Technologies Systems as a Bookkeeper until its sale.

In 1995 Brenda was hired at Sunbeam Television Corporation (Channel 7, Boston) working various jobs until promoted to Business Manager which she held until her retirement.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua NH. She loved working in and spending many relaxing hours in her beautiful yard. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Brenda is survived by two daughters, Stacey Pominville and her husband Douglas of Nashua, NH and Stefanie Bicica and her wife Amy of West Bridgewater, MA; a son, John Paul Rich and his husband James of Biddeford ME; a sister, Debra Vance of Merrimack NH a brother, Roger Vance of Syracuse NY; There are also five grandchildren; Twelve year old Nathaniel Bicica, eleven year old twins Teaghan Pominville and Wyatt Pominville, ten year old Gabriel Bicica and five year old Ava Rich.

She was also the sister of the late Jeffrey Vance, Carol Vance, and Wendy Vance.

Friends may attend her Memorial Visitation on Wednesday May 21, 2025, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME  11 NASHUA RD.  in PELHAM, NH from 3:00 to 5:30 P.M. Her Funeral Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 5:30 P.M. A Celebration of Life will follow.
