Carole A. Hennessey
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend;
Carole A. (Cantin) Hennessey, 82, of Lowell but formerly of Groton, Massachusetts , passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on Saturday July 3, 2021 after a brief illness.
She was the loving wife of the late Richard W. Hennessey who died on November 1, 2018.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, November 8, 1938, the daughter of the late Alexander G. and the late Alice D. (Landry) Cantin, she was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Prior to her retirement, Carole was a quality control analyst with Nixdorf Computer in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Among her several interests, Carole was active with the Hudson Speedway and a passionate fan of stock car racing and NASCAR.
However, her greatest joy was when she was with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Carole is survived by her daughter Victoria L. Hansen and her fiancé James Boyd of Dracut; three sons Scott R. Hennessey and John E. Hennessey both of Lowell and Marc W. Hennessey of Londonderry, NH; eight grandchildren Gennessa and her wife Lauren, Nolan, Selena, Ashley and her husband Ben, Jacob, Kimberly, Andrew and Caitlin; six siblings Jeanne Hart and her husband Joseph of Danbury, NH, Ronald Cantin and his late wife, Janet of Dracut, Judith Cantin of Chelmsford, Edmund Cantin and his wife Diane of Lunenburg, Stephen Cantin of Lowell and Joseph Cantin and his wife, Sandy of Westford; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday July 9, 2021 at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 10 o’clock. All other services will be private.
