Beloved sister, sister-in-law, and aunt;

Cathy J. Squires, R.N., 64, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday August 10, 2024, at home.

Born in Melrose, MA, April 18, 1960, the daughter of the late George K. Sr., and the late Betty J. (Parkerson) Squires, she attended Tewksbury Schools and was a graduate of Tewksbury High School in the class of 1978.

Later, she attended Arizona State, and she graduated from UMass Lowell with a degree in nursing.

Prior to her retirement, Cathy worked as a registered nurse at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA.

Amongst her many interests, Cathy enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and was a dedicated and talented baker.

Cathy is survived by her brother George K. Squires, Jr. of Pelham, NH; a sister Deborah L. Thorp and her husband William of Milford, NH; a brother-in-law Richard Picard of Pelham, NH; she is also survived by her nieces Kathy, Lynne, Danielle, Karen, Ashley and nephews James and David.
