Cecile L. (Houde) Marcoux

Beloved mother, sister, aunt, and cousin;

Cecile L. (Houde) Marcoux, 86, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 27, 2023, at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell, Massachusetts.

She was the loving wife of the late Fernand P. Marcoux, who died in 2007.

Born in Lowell, MA, December 5, 1936, the daughter of the late Armand and the late Alexina (Morin) Houde, she attended Ste Jeanne D’Arc School and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in the class of 1953.

Prior to her retirement in 2009, Cecile was a Self-employed Real Estate Title Examiner working with many prominent attorneys for over 50 years.

Among her many interests, she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, card games, watching game shows (particularly "The Price is Right") and being a cat mom to Mitzi and KC. Cecile also enjoyed shopping with her sister and movie/lunch outings with her dear friends Eleanor and Mary.

Cecile is survived by a daughter: Pamela (Marcoux) Marcotte and her husband James A. of Pelham, NH; a son Richard A. Marcoux of Pelham, NH; a sister Yvette Sirois of Andover, MA; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was the mother of the late Marieanne Marcoux and the sister-in-law of the late Louis Sirois.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wingate Residences at Haverhill and D’Youville Senior Care for the care and comfort they provided for Cecile.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM on Monday July 3, 2023, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at ST.
