Beloved father, brother and friend

Charles F. McLaughlin, III, 78, beloved husband of the late Jean (Weshonko) McLaughlin, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at High Point House in Haverhill, MA.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on May 24, 1942, he was the beloved son of the late Charles F. and the late Ann B. (Christie) McLaughlin. Charles attended Lowell schools was a graduate of Lowell High school. Later, he earned his Associate’s Degree at Coyne Electrical in Newton, MA.

A veteran of the Vietnam War from 1960 – 1964, he proudly and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. McLaughlin worked as a Master Electrician at Anheuser Busch in Merrimack, NH for over 30 years before retiring in 2004.

In his spare time, Charles enjoyed ski trips and beach vacations with his family and friends, and in more recent years, exploring new restaurants.

An avid Boston sports fan, he most treasured spending time with his family and will be missed dearly.
Charles is survived by his daughter Heather J. McLaughlin and her partner Josh Sullivan, his son Patrick M. McLaughlin and his wife Jessica; two sisters, Rosemarie Hall and Judy McLaughlin; a brother, Kevin McLaughlin and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service and Committal Prayers at 10:30 AM on Saturday March 13, 2021 at the Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH.
