Daniel W. Choate 

Beloved father, grandfather, and brother; 

Daniel W. Choate, 74, of Epping, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 20, 2024, at his home surrounded by loving family.

He was the devoted husband of the late Deborah D. Freund (Holt) Choate, who passed away on July 9, 2019.

Born in San Diego, California, February 18, 1950, he was the son of the late Voris J. and the late Louise (Harrell) Choate. He lived most of his childhood in Jacksonville, NC.

Prior to his retirement, Daniel worked as a Pest control specialist for the Pro-Con Pest Control Company.

Amongst his many interests, Daniel enjoyed reading, listening to music on his record player, and driving- often to North Carolina to visit his sister Madelene and extended family. He loved boating, especially on Lake Winnipesauke, and above all else he cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by four children: Amanda L. Holt and her partner Alicia Spates of Dover, NH, David J. Choate and his wife Meaghan of Pelham, NH, Joseph D. Choate and his wife Bonnie J. Dalicandro of Salem, NH, and Andrew F. Holt and his wife Janine of Dover, NH; nine grandchildren Izzie, Domenic, Gracelyn, Scarlett, Sienna, Naomi, Poppy, Romy, and Thatcher; he is also survived by a sister Madeline Fulcher of Jacksonville, NC.

Friends may call on Sunday June 30, 2024, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Services on Monday July 1, 2024, at the Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH, at 10:00 A.M. (Please meet at the cemetery).
