Loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law and friend;

Donald R. “Donny” Anderson, 63, of Pelham, New Hampshire died unexpectedly Monday December 27, 2021, at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA surrounded by his family.

He was the beloved husband of Diane M. (Sandvik) Anderson, who survives him and with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage on September 7, 2021.
Born in Winchester, Massachusetts, September 24, 1958, the son of the late Frederick H. and the late Phyllis A. (Stewart) Anderson, he attended Reading schools and was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School Class of 1977. He went on to attend the former Boston State College.

Donny was a security officer with Allied Universal Security at Emerson Hospital since 2016 and will be sorely missed by his many colleagues.
Well known and well-loved for his quick smile and excellent sense of humor, Donny enjoyed golfing, camping – he and his extended family enjoyed annual trips over many summers, and cruising on his motorcycle. He spent many happy hours with friends and coworkers, and especially cherished time with his family and his rat terrier dog, Riley.

Besides his wife Diane, Donny is survived by a son Michael Anderson and two daughters Lauren and Jessica Anderson all of Pelham, NH; a sister Judy MacNeill and her husband Rick of Derry, NH; two brothers Fred Anderson, Jr. and his wife Martha of South Hampton, NH and Bob Anderson and his companion Dee Moquin of North Hampton, NH; brother-in-law to Donna Good and her husband Jim of Bedford, MA, Gary Tremblay of Bedford, MA and Beth Sandvik of Woburn, MA; and several loving nieces and nephews. He was the life of the party at any family gathering and will be missed terribly.

Friends may attend his Memorial Visitation at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM on Tuesday evening January 4, 2021, from 4 to 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Committal Prayer Service on Wednesday morning at the Gibson Cemetery, Marsh Rd. in Pelham at 11 o’clock.
