Donald “Don” R. Bell of Pelham, New Hampshire
Don Bell, 77, a long-time resident of Pelham, NH passed away peacefully on August 7 at Lowell General Hospital.
Son of the late Robert and Alice Bell and brother of the late Robert “Bobby” Bell, Jr., Don was born and raised in Lawrence, MA. After graduating from Lawrence High School, Don very proudly served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves as a Sargeant during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for over forty years as a Configuration Manager for the Raytheon Corporation in Andover and Tewksbury, MA.
Don is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Suzanne, and daughter Kathleen Bell.
With an infectious and often mischievous sense of humor, Don enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and friends that he considered family. A true Trekkie, Don was always tuned in to SCI-FI tv and movies, often while munching on his favorite Lebanese delicacies. In the Patriots off season, you could find Don cooling off at the beach in Maine and thawing out from the New England winters at Walt Disney World.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM, NH, on Thursday August 15, 2024, from 5-7PM. The family is planning a small private burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Don’s name to the American Diabetes Association https://diabetes.org/ways-to-give/memorial-gift
