Doris K. (Kelley) Harriman,

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
 
Doris K. Harriman, 94, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023, at D’Youville Senior Care Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
 
Doris was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on September 12, 1928, the third daughter of the late Kenneth Kelley and the late Helen (Brickett) Kelley.  She attended Melrose High School, then studied fashion and marketing at Michigan State University. After marriage and raising her children, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from U/MASS Dartmouth, worked as a schoolteacher, and became an instructor, then director of the Educational Opportunity Center in New Bedford, Massachusetts, where she passionately helped others achieve their educational and career goals.
 
As a member of the First Church in Wenham, MA, Doris worked on many community support projects for those less fortunate.
 
Doris was a brilliant Scrabble aficionado and a lifelong Red Sox fan. She was a lover of puzzles, good dogs, cats, Cape Cod, and Cuttyhunk Island. She was most happy with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who treasured her company too, and will miss her dearly.
 
Doris is survived by her five children: Lucy Reynolds of Prescott Valley, AZ; Brickett Hatten and her husband Richard of New Bedford, MA; Lee Harriman and his wife Sue of Gallatin, TN; Richard Harriman and his wife Heidi Palola of Greece; and Rebecca Cummings and her husband Rick of Pelham, NH.  She leaves behind eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom bear her mark in looks as well as character.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Funeral Service on Saturday, March 25th, 2023, at the First Congregational Church in Pelham, NH, at 11:00 am.
