Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister-in-law;

Dorothy T. Haverty, 86, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 2, 2021, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.

She was the loving wife of the late Donald J. Haverty who died in 2016, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Flushing, New York, May 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and the late Dorothy F. (Bolte) Zimmer, she was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham.

Prior to her retirement, Dorothy was an office manager for Minute Man Appraisals in Chelmsford for many years.

Among her several interests, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and vacationing in Maine.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Donald J. Haverty II and his wife Kelly of Pelham, and Robert L. Haverty II and his wife Christine of Pelham; a daughter Dorothy Haverty-Bussiere and her husband Edmond of Pelham; six grandchildren, Meghan Somley and her husband Travis, Maura Bussiere, Robert Haverty III, Kiera Bussiere, Connor Haverty and Casey Haverty; a great-granddaughter Hadley Somley; her sister-in-law Helen Haverty of Westford; and many nieces and nephews. Also, Dorothy was a friend to all and was loved by many.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM on Wednesday December 8, 2021 from 4 to 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Thursday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH at 10 o’clock. Burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham.
