Drusilla Calitri

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother;

Windham, N.H. - Drusilla Monroe Calitri, 94, died on Sunday January 15, 2023 at her home in Windham Terrace where she lovingly cared for, for the past 8 years. Her daughters were present as she passed peacefully humming and singing until her last breath.

She was married to the late Joseph Calitri for 52 years and was a devoted mother to her three daughters.

Drusilla was born in Worcester, MA on May 25th, 1928, to the late Arthur and the late Inez (Hood) Monroe.

Adored by her parents and her late sister Mary Jane, she had a wonderful childhood.

A graduate of Clark University, Drusilla worked in the research lab of Mass General Hospital and at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC.

Dru was a brilliant musician who taught music, sang in the church choir and brought joy and music to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by daughters Susan, Dana and Melanie, their husbands, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren who cannot imagine life without her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Monday January 23, 2023 at the FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF PELHAM at 10:00 o’clock. Her burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Spencer, MA. E-condolences/directions at www.pelhamfuneralhome.com.
