Elaine Sweetser Obituary

Beloved mother, sister aunt and friend;

Elaine G. (Breault) Sweetser, 85, of Pelham, New Hampshire passed away on Tuesday January 6, 2026, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Herbert E. “Sonny” Sweetser

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Peter G. and the late Jeannette (Drouin) Breault, she attended Lowell school and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

Before retirement, Elaine was a medical secretary for Ears, Nose and Throat Associates in Lowell with Dr. Tober for many years.

Active in the community, Elaine was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Pelham and Dracut Seniors and the Dracut Bowling League.

For Elaine, her real passion was to travel with family and friends on cruises and throughout Europe creating a lifetime of memories.

She is survived by her son Glen P. Sweetser and his wife Doreen of Pelham; her granddaughter Kaila J. Sweetser of Pelham; a sister Jan MacEachern of Pelham, a brother-in-law Martin Bloomgren; two sisters-in-law Brenda Bloomgren and Linda Bloomgren; and several nieces and nephews.

Elaine was also the mother of the late Gary H. Sweetser.

Relatives and friends may call for her Memorial Visitation on Tuesday January 20, 2026, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 6 P.M.
