Ernest Joseph Trepanier

Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend;

Ernest Joseph Trepanier, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Pelham, NH on Monday July 5, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the loving husband of the late Theresa M. (Adams) Trepanier, his wife for over 55 years.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 7, 1934, the son of the late Joseph H. and the late Marilda (Bordeleau) Trepanier, he attended Ste. Jeanne D'Arc Grammar school and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1953.

A veteran of the Korean War, Ernie proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force.

Prior to his retirement, Ernie was employed for many years by Finest Food Stores and Wang Laboratories.

Ernie was a long-time communicant of Saint Patrick’s Church in Pelham, NH.

An avid duck-pin bowler, Ernie enjoyed gardening and loved fishing, the Boston Red Sox, and spending time with his family at their lake-house in Sebago, Maine.

He is survived by his daughter Denise Gionet, of Pelham, NH, his two sons Robert Trepanier of Pelham, NH with his long-time girlfriend Tarry Santos of Haverhill MA, and Paul Trepanier and his wife Becky Trepanier of Tewksbury MA; his 7 grandchildren Chere Brown, Lora Brown her husband Caleb Whitehead, Darren Gionet, Alycia Gionet, Robert Trepanier Jr., Madison Trepanier and Ali Trepanier. He will be lovingly remembered by his 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Also, a special thank you to Maureen Taylor and Sarah York for their kind companionship.

Ernie was also predeceased by two of his grandchildren Daniel Gionet in 2006 and Amanda Brown in 2017.

His Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 21, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Church, Main Street, Pelham, NH at 10 o'clock. Committal Prayers will follow at the Gibson Cemetery.
