Florence Rose (Blaquiere) White

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother;

Florence Rose (Blaquiere) White, 94, formerly of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Friday June 21, 2024, at Grace House of Windham, NH.

She was the loving wife for over 54 years of the late Alphonsus Joseph White who passed in 2003 and later, her longtime dear companion, the late Rosario Barcellona who passed in 2023.

Born in East Boston, MA, April 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Maurice J. and the late Anna (LaForet) Blaquiere, she attended Everett, MA schools and was a graduate of Everett High School.

A devoted stay at home mother who raised seven children, Florence was also an accomplished ballroom dancer, gardener, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting, creating unique and beautiful afghans for all of her family.  But her greatest joy was when she was with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Florence is survived by six daughters Lorraine Dube and her husband Dennis Dube of Pelham, NH; Ellen White and her partner David Hutchinson of Tooele, UT;  Claire Rouillard and her husband David Rouillard of Goffstown, NH; Ann Chiappone of Escondido, CA; Mary Sawyer and her husband Ricky Sawyer of Knotts Island, NC; Jeannie Gilbert and her husband Scott Gilbert of Pelham, NH;  and a son Stephen White and his wife Pamela White of Pelham, NH.  She is also survived by eleven grandchildren Matthew Dube and his wife Stacey Dube, Gretchen Lupica and her husband Jim Lupica, Ryan Rouillard and his wife Michelle Rouillard, Douglas Rouillard, Joshua Sawyer and his wife Kristin Sawyer, Aaron Sawyer, Sarah Sawyer, Sara Alanis and her husband Israel Alanis, Ashley Robinson and her husband Myles Robinson, Melissa White and her fiancé Scott Audy, Shane White and his wife Elizabeth White, and Haley Gilbert, as well as many loved great grandchildren.

She was also the grandmother of the late Dennis Dube of Pelham, NH who is survived by his wife Kathleen Dube and two children. She was also the sister of the late Warren Blaquiere and the late Robert Blaquiere.

In addition, the White family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all the wonderful staff at Grace House of Windham for their compassionate care, comfort and love over the years, as well as the kind, caring team of Brookhaven Hospice of Windham.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 Nashua Rd in Pelham, NH on Tuesday morning June 25, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 noon followed by her Graveside Committal Services at the Gibson Cemetery at 12:30pm in Pelham, NH.
