Francesco A. “Frank” Maglio, Jr.

Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend;

Francesco A. “Frank” Maglio, Jr. of Pelham, NH, a member of a widely known Pelham family, passed away at his home on Thursday August 19, 2021 with his loving family by his side.

Born on June 26, 1926 and raised in East Boston to the late Francesco A. and the late Ermenia (Aldorisio) Maglio, Sr., he attended local schools and graduated from Boston Trade H.S. Class of 1944.

A veteran of World War II, Frank proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy on the US Topeka.

Frank moved to Pelham in 1950, and became a farmer. He raised thousands of chickens. This is where he met his wife,Yvonne playing Bingo at St. Patricks.

He was the loving husband for over 52 years of the late Yvonne A. (Ducharme) Maglio who died January 3, 2004.

He owned and operated Frank's Appliance of Pelham for over 45 years.

Active in his community, he was a former Commander of both the Pelham American Legion Post 100 and the Pelham VFW Post 10722.

In addition, he was a longtime Grand Knight of the Pelham Knights of Columbus 4th Degree and was also a member of St. Patrick Men's Club.

Frank is survived by seven children: Nina Bisson of Pelham, Frank Maglio III of Hudson, NH, Maria Thomas and husband Tony of Georgia, Marianne Lannan and husband, Bill of Tyngsboro, Linda Cotter and husband David of Nashua, Donna Holmes of Hudson, NH and Joanne Arseneault and husband Michael of Pelham.  He also leaves 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and is survived by a brother Anthony Maglio and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was the brother of the late Joseph, and Michael Maglio and sister, Maria Garabedian.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM on Tuesday August 24, 2021 from 3 to 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Wednesday at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 12:30 P.M. Burial to follow at the Gibson Cemetery.
