Frederick “Freddie” M. Leduc

Beloved husband, father, brother-in-law, and uncle;

Frederick “Freddie” M. Leduc, 89, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Monday March 20, 2023, at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts surrounded by his loving family.

Fred was the devoted husband for over 62 years of Carole-Ann (Horman) Leduc of Pelham, NH, who survives him.

Born in Lowell, MA, on September 11, 1933, the son of the late Frederick and the late Etta (Moge) Leduc, he attended St. Louis Grammar school and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the class of 1952.

Fred proudly served his country in the Korean War with the U.S. Navy.

Prior to his retirement, Fred worked as a Linotype Operator at the Lowell Sun in the Composing room for over 30 years.

Among his interests, Fred enjoyed reading and was also a very good cook.

An avid Boston sports fan, he was also active in Pelham sport where he served as a Coach, Manager, and President of the Pelham Little League.

Besides his wife, Fred is survived by a daughter: Nicole A. Zahn and her husband Kevin of Methuen, MA; sister-in-law Pauline Leduc of Dracut, MA; he is also survived by a niece Denise Morrell of Dracut, MA.

Fred was the father of the late Frederick F. “Rick” Leduc who died January 24, 2022, and brother of the late Armand Leduc who died August 19, 2017
