Gail (Nickerson) Tousignant

Beloved wife, mother,

Pelham – Gail M. (Nickerson) Tousignant, formerly of Lowell & Pelham NH, passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2023.

She was the loving wife of A William Tousignant with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Born in Lowell on August 7th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John T. Nickerson and the late Mary (Scanlon) Nickerson and attended Lowell schools. She was a 1953 graduate of Lowell High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She went on to graduate from Bradshaw Business college.

Prior to her retirement, Gail worked for the former New England Telephone (kna Verizon) for many years, and later for High Temperature Materials of Lowell, Mass.

Gail moved to Pelham after getting married and resided there for 65 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son Bill Tousignant of Pelham; her nephew David Tousignant and his wife Susan and their daughter Lauren of Dracut; and several nieces and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister Jacqueline Nicholson & late husband Frank Nicholson, her late brother In law Phil Tousignant, and his wife late Nora.

She will be remembered for the long relationship she had with her close friends Betty McCarthy, Mary Miserlis an Ester Johnson, and the fun they all had but most enjoyable times were spent with her son and husband, visiting Florida and Washington, and the Cape.

Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday August 22, 2023 at ST. MATTHEW'S CHURCH in WINDHAM, NH, at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Gibson Cemetery in Pelham.
