Loving aunt, grandaunt, great-grandaunt and friend
Gladys M. Orzechowski, 92, of Pelham, NH, formerly an 85 year resident of Indian Orchard, Massachusetts, died Saturday, June 2nd at Lowell General Hospital – Main Campus.
Born Wladyslawa Maria Orzechowski in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts, January 22, 1926, a daughter of the late Pauel and the late Magdalena (Zrebiec) Orzechowski, she attended the Milton Street School, Indian Orchard School and Myrtle Street School and was a graduate of the High School of Commerce all in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Before retiring, Gladys was employed as a Wire Worker with Springfield Wire, Incorporated for many years.
Among her many activities, she enjoyed playing softball as a pitcher, horseshoes, tennis, checkers, dominoes and competition running (in which she had won numerous championships).
Gladys is survived by two nieces Joan Ciambella and her husband Nicholas of Windham, NH and Deborah Tenczar and her husband Dennis of Pelham, NH; and a niece-in-law Janet Albury of Miami, FL; and several grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews and friends.
She was also sister of the late Mary Gleason, Genevieve Guilfoyle and Edward Orzechowski and aunt of the late James P. Albury.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Thursday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in Pelham at 10 o'clock.
