Jacqueline A. Blanchette

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt;

Jacqueline A. “Jackie” (Bedard) Blanchette, 90, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife for almost 70 years of Philippe L. “Phil” Blanchette, who predeceased her in May of this year.

Born in Pelham, New Hampshire, May 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Georgianna (Rondeau) Bedard and received her education in the Pelham school system.

For over 50 years Jackie worked as a waitress at Harris’s Pelham Inn

Active in her community, she was a member of the Spirit Group, the Garden Club and the Pelham VFW Auxiliary Post 107222.

Jackie is survived by a daughter, Muriel A. Brodie and her husband Peter of Pelham, NH; three grandsons, John O. Brodie and his wife Jessica of West Windsor, VT, Peter A. Brodie of Pelham, NH, and Eric R. Brodie of Keene NH; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Acadia, and Madison Brodie; a sister, Carmen Nical of Lawrence, MA; many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by 15 of her 16 siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Funeral Mass that will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at St. Patrick Church in Pelham, NH at 10 o’clock.
