Beloved Father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin;
 
John P. Costello, 89, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 17, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital.
He was the loving husband of the late Pearl L. Costello, who passed away December 2, 2010. They were married 48 years.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on March 10, 1933, the son of the late John J. and the late Ellen (Devine) Costello, he graduated from Keith Academy, Class of 1951.
He went on to graduate from Northeastern University in 1956 with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
A veteran of the Korean War, John proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
Prior to his retirement, he spent over 30 years in the Insurance industry specializing as a Property Underwriter.
A longtime communicant of St. Patrick Parish in Pelham, NH., John enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching sports, discussing current events and politics.
He is survived by son John P. Costello, Jr of Pelham , NH, three daughters Louisa C. Crowley and her husband James of Hampton, NH, Kathleen Crowell of Greenland, NH, and Anne Brunelle and her husband Raymond of Pelham, NH; and a former son-in-law Craig Crowley; six grandchildren: Allison and Brian Crowley, Katherine and Zachary Crowell, Alex and Sarah Brunelle; a sister: Mary E. Adie of Dracut, MA; a brother Kevin F. Costello and his wife Rosemary of Acton, MA; his dear cousin Margaret Russell of Groton, MA; Sister in law Gloria O’Neil of Lowell, MA, Brother in law Jean Laforest and wife Joanne of Venice, FL, Sister in law Lorraine Ryan and husband Paul of Summerfield, Fl,
and several loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at the ST. PATRICK CHURCH in Pelham, NH, on Friday September 23, 2022, from 10 to 11 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock.
