John P. LaRochelle, Sr.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother;

John P. LaRochelle, Sr., 76, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 23, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital.

A well-known businessman in Pelham, he was the loving husband for over 56 years of Doris J. (Tessier) LaRochelle, who survives him.

Born in Lowell, MA, April 24, 1948, the son of the late George and the late Florence E. (Cote) LaRochelle, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1966. He went on to attend Lowell Technological Institute (nka U/Mass Lowell) where he studied engineering.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, John proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.

Prior to his retirement, John was the Co-owner and operator of ComCon Contractors, Inc. in Pelham for over 20 years, specializing in the construction of several DeMoulas Market Basket Stores.

A member of the Pelham VFW, John also enjoyed golfing, woodworking and camping with his family. A talented guitarist, he also loved playing music over the years in bands with his friends and fellow musicians.

Besides his wife Doris, John is survived by two sons John P. LaRochelle, Jr. and his wife Lisa and Corey J. LaRochelle and his wife Darlene all of Pelham, NH; two grandsons Logan LaRochelle and Rocco LaRochelle; two brothers Thomas LaRochelle of Brookline, NH and Gerald LaRochelle of Londonderry; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Committal Services to be held on Monday September 30, 2024, at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscowan, NH at 1:00 P.M. with military honors.
