Joyce M. (Bunker) Passalaqua

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister;

Joyce M. (Bunker) Passalaqua, 77, of Pelham, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on Saturday August 20, 2022, at her home.

She was the loving wife for over 56 years to the late Salvatore F. “Sonny” Passalaqua who died in March of 2021.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, May 19, 1945, the daughter of the late Allen H. Bunker and the late Lena (Indella) Bunker, she attended Billerica schools and was a graduate of Billerica High School Class of 1963. 

Prior to her retirement, Joyce loved her job as a preschool teacher at Pelham Kindergarten & Daycare in Pelham, NH where she worked for over 20 years.

Joyce and her family had many fond memories of camping and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee. Later in life, she enjoyed RV trips with her husband and her dog Baxter to visit her daughters in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.

To family and friends alike, Joyce was a kindhearted soul that touched the hearts of so many people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Joyce is survived by her three daughters Dianne Greenan and her husband Scott of Palm Harbor, FL, Darlene Roberge and her husband Marc of Huntersville, NC and Laurie Passalaqua and her husband Nathan Mullett of Fort Mill, SC; five grandchildren Stephanni and Julianna Greenan, Lexy Roberge, Ethan Bright and River Mullett; her brother Edward Bunker of Billerica; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Doris McGrath and the late Allen Bunker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday August 26, 2022, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD in PELHAM NH from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.
