Laurence Martin Obituary

Beloved husband, father and grandfather;

Laurence E. Martin, Sr., 84, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Friday April 11, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was the devoted husband for 57 years to Sandra J. (Schenk) Martin, who survives him.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, November 24, 1940, the son of the late Laurence S. and the late Leda (Chabot) Martin, he attended Central Catholic High School.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, Larry proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force.

Prior to his retirement, he was a shipping manager for B.F. Goodrich's Key Polymer Chemicals and adhesives division in South Lawrence, MA for many years.

Among his many interests, he enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, going to the beach for lobster and steamers, watching Jeopardy and spending time with his friends at the Salem Athletic Club.

Besides his wife Sandra, Larry is survived  by a son Laurence E. Martin, Jr. and his wife Kathryn of Woodstock, GA; a daughter Barbara A. Martin of Haverhill, MA; three grandchildren Joshua, Julia and Ryan Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Funeral Service to be held on Saturday May 10, 2025, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM at 10:30 A.M.
