Leslie M. (Brashears) Kennedy

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend;

Leslie M. (Brashears) Kennedy, 72, of Pelham, New Hampshire passed away peacefully at her home on Friday February 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the loving wife of Tim Kennedy, with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on August 31, 1968.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, May 28, 1948, the daughter of Rosalie (Wood) Brashears of Hanover, PA and the late Lester Brashears, she was a graduate of Franklin Pierce College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Prior to her retirement, she was a corporate comptroller for the Spire Corporation in Bedford, MA for many years.

Leslie had many interests including quilling, gardening and baking. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Besides her husband and mother, Leslie is survived by two daughters Lisa Heffernan and her husband James of Derry, NH and Amy Townson and her husband Carl of York, PA; four grandchildren Kaitlyn Holmes and her husband Jack, Elizabeth Heffernan, Connor Townson and Devin Heffernan; a sister Roseanne Crew and her husband David of Westminster, MD; a brother Tim Brashears of PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM Thursday February 25, 2021 from 4 to 7 P.M. (All state required social distancing procedures will be observed including the wearing of masks upon entrance into the funeral home.)
