Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother

Pelham, New Hampshire-Lorraine M. (Lagasse) Blanchette, 83 years old, wife of the late Roger W. Blanchette who died March of 2021, died July 21, 2023, at her home in Pelham, N.H.

Born in Lowell, MA on March 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Edmond Joseph and Marie Jeanne (LaFortune) Lagasse. Lorraine received her education in the Lowell School system.

Lorraine retired from Digital in Salem, N.H. where she worked for over 20 years as an assembler.

She had many hobbies she enjoyed, including crocheting towels, shopping, and playing the board game Tock. She loved watching the Game Show Network and was a big fan of the M.S.P.C.A.

She is survived by her seven children, Karen M. Eichhorn and her husband Richard of Salem, N.H., Allen G. Blanchette and his wife Heather Boggs of Cary, N.C., Randall R. Blanchette of Pelham, N.H., Donna M. Stone and her husband David of Dublin, N.H., Kimberly A. Blanchette of Pelham, N.H., Sandra J. DeMoura of Nashua, N.H., and Roger R. Blanchette and his wife Kelly of Pelham, N.H.; eleven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Claire Belanger and her husband Bob of Dracut, MA., and Jeannine Turgeon of Lowell and a brother Armand Lagasse and his wife Sylvia of Hudson, N.H.

Lorraine was the sister of the late Arthur Lagasse and the sister-in-law of the late Elaine Lagasse and Gilbert Turgeon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Blanchette Family Home, 81 Burns Road, Pelham New Hampshire from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
