Manuel A. “Manny” McMahon
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend;
Manuel A. “Manny” McMahon, 75, of Derry, New Hampshire but formerly of Lowell and Pelham, NH passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by loving family.
He was the devoted husband for over 45 years of Susan (Lyons) McMahon, who survives him.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, January 14, 1946, the son of the late Arthur and the late Marion McMahon, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1964 and also served as a Boy Officer.
He went on to graduate from North East Institute of Industrial Technology in Boston.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, Manny served his country as a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.
Prior to his retirement, Manny was a Print Circuit Board Designer with CADstar International for many years.
Manny’s true love besides his family was music. He was a guitarist with popular rock and roll band, the Elevations. He also enjoyed sports, bass fishing, trips to Foxwoods and playing cards with his friends.
However, Manny’s greatest joy was when he was with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters Stacy A. Kelly and her husband Joseph of Derry, NH and Kerry McMahon of Leominster; three grandchildren Stacia E. McMahon and her fiancé Dylan Cummings, Scott A. McMahon and his fiancée Alyssa Gaffney and Jescenia Gonzalez and her significant other Anthony Melendez all of Lowell; five great grandchildren Shane, Julian, Ryleigh, Alayah and J.J. all of Lowell; two sister – in laws Annette McMahon of Dracut and Cynthia Lyons of Florida; four nieces Sandra Arcand and her husband Paul of Lowell, Kathy Kristian and her husband Neil of Ipswich, Joni Leahy and her husband John of Lowell and Meghan Lyons of Florida.
He was also the brother of the late Arthur McMahon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday June 21, 2021 at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 2 to 5 P.M.
