Marguerite E. Palumbo

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Marguerite E. (Johnson) Palumbo, 88, of Pelham, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 30, 2022, at her home.

She was the devoted wife of the late Richard V. Palumbo.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, August 1, 1934, the daughter of the late Frederick T. and the late Marie (Corey) Johnson, she attended Medford schools and was a graduate of Medford High School. Marguerite then graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial school in Boston.

A caring wife and mother, Marguerite was most happy when she was with her family and relaxing with her newspaper and cat Ozzie.

Among her several interests, she enjoyed reading, dancing, doing puzzles, visiting the beach, watching sports, and her many cats.

Marguerite is survived by three children Elaine M. Collins of Tewksbury, MA, Andrea L. Palumbo of Uxbridge, MA and Richard A. Palumbo of Pelham, NH; six grandchildren Taylor (Collins) Bee and her husband Jeffrey, Shannon Collins, Shane Collins, Alicia Hooton and her husband Nick, Kahlen and Logan Palumbo; three great grandchildren Dylan Bee, Melanie and Liam Hooton; her brother Frederick Johnson and his wife Eldean of Gloucester; several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Brenda Blake and the late Marie Rollins.

Friends may call for her Memorial Visitation at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM, NH on Wednesday December 14, 2022, from 3 to 6 P.M.
