Marianne T. Brettell
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend
Marianne T. (Perigny) Brettell, 63, a lifelong resident of Pelham, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 26th at her home. She was the beloved wife of Charles H. Brettell with whom she celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on November 11, 2019.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, July 14, 1956, a daughter of the late Normand and the late Therese (Generaux) Perigny, she attended Pelham schools and was a graduate of Alvirne High School with the Class of 1974.
Marianne was currently employed as a Secretary at the YMCA in Merrimack, NH. Previously, she worked as a Dispatcher at Casella Waste Systems in Salem, NH and Arrow Container in Pelham, NH..
Among her many activities, she loved socializing with family and friends, particularly at the American Legions in Pelham and Merrimack and although not a golfer, Pine Valley Golf Links in Pelham. She was a loving and caring person who made a positive and lasting impression on anybody she ever met. She also enjoyed camping and gardening. She was a very active member of the Pelham American Legion Post 100 Auxiliary. Her greatest joy however, was the quality time she was able to spend with her husband, children, step-children, granddaughter and step-grandsons.
In addition to her husband Charlie, Marianne is survived by a son Paul Pellerin, Jr. and his wife Tricia of Pelham, NH; a granddaughter Hannah Pellerin; a step-daughter Kristen Brettell and her companion Eric Guerrieo of North Billerica, MA; a step-son Brian Brettell of Sandown, NH; three step-grandsons Brian, Nicholas and Austin Brettell; two sisters Diane Frost and her husband Jack of Ohio and Judy Lagasse of Pelham, NH; two brothers Kenneth Perigny and his wife Donna of Salem, NH and David Perigny and his wife Cheryl of Pelham, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Robert Perigny.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration at the AMERICAN LEGION POST 100 in Pelham on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 12 to 4 P.M. E-condolences at www.pelhamfuneralhome.com.
